In this railway photography adventure, a couple of nighttime panned photos saved the day! This vlog almost went without any images, but some last-minute panned night railway shots turned the tide, making the entire outing worthwhile.

As I searched for the perfect lineside position for the planned Railhead Treatment Train photo, I encountered some challenges. Undeterred, I decided to try my hand at panning railway photography at a local lineside spot. The result? A couple of night railway shots that added a unique twist to the journey. Watch and let me know what you think of these unexpected shots!

The video features a Class 60 locomotive, a couple of Class 66 on the Railhead Treatment Train, and a Class 66 on Freightliner. Filmed at Methley and Whitwood Castleford, this railway photography vlog captures the essence of spontaneity in the pursuit of the perfect shot.
